I got my start in knife sharpening as a young man in Boy Scouts—always striving for that perfect edge to complete my tasks safely and efficiently. My passion for carving and the great outdoors naturally led me to this craft. Although I’m entirely self-taught, I learn something new every day to fine-tune my process and deliver exquisite results.

I chose the name Lumberjack Sharpening as a homage to Paul Bunyan and my love for the outdoors. I’m a jack of all trades who enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, and living a self-sufficient lifestyle. When I’m not sharpening knives, you can find me splitting wood for my wood fireplace or exploring nature.
